We propose a collaboration between Metopia and Unlock Protocol DAO to launch a gamified educational experience and onchain credential system that rewards users for learning and using Unlock.

This partnership will expand awareness, boost onchain engagement, and create measurable reputation metrics tied to real Unlock usage.

Objective

To onboard and educate new users through interactive missions, quizzes, and onchain badges powered by Metopia’s credential system — helping users learn about Unlock Protocol while earning verifiable credentials for their actions.

This initiative aims to:

Educate users about Unlock use cases (tickets, memberships, subscriptions, certifications)
Incentivize hands-on experience with the protocol
Strengthen DAO visibility and reputation through measurable onchain data
Foster long-term loyalty and engagement within the Unlock community

Implementation Overview

1. Unlock Academy at Metopia

Launches Unlock Academy, a unique interactive educational mission with quizzes, designed to teach users about Unlock Protocol while expanding its impact.

The mission covers:

What is Unlock Protocol and how it works
UP token & DAO governance
Creating a membership, ticket, or certification
Benefits for creators and communities

🎓 Users completing all lessons receive a custom Unlock Achievement Badge (non-transferable).

2. Unlock Quick Quiz Game

10+ short quizzes designed around Unlock’s features and use cases
Provides a fun and engaging experience to deepen users’ understanding
Presented independently from the main Academy mission

3. Onchain Credentials for Unlock Users

Metopia creates and issues verifiable credentials for Unlock, allowing users to verify and showcase their onchain actions on Unlock while earning rewards.

Users can earn verified credentials for:

Locks created
Keys minted
Events organized with Unlock
Participation in Unlock DAO votes
Holding UP tokens

These attestations will appear on users’ Metopia profiles as part of their onchain reputation.

4. Co-branded Community Campaigns

3–4 community quests to promote engagement, such as:

Raffles for completing Unlock Academy
Rewards for verifying Unlock credentials
Social challenges (follow, share, create content)
Feedback or survey completion on Unlock experience

Quests will offer Metopia XP, UP tokens, or onchain credentials as rewards.

Proposed Budget

Metopia proposes a $1,000 USD partnership in UP tokens, with 20% allocated as a service fee and 80% distributed directly to users as rewards.

Metopia will also provide additional XP incentives at no extra cost.

20,000–50,000 total campaign reach
8,000–20,000 participants
Dozens of new wallets completing Unlock missions
Verified onchain metrics: locks, keys, and DAO participation
Measurable growth in awareness and active user base
