Summary

This proposal requests the release of the second tranche of the Unlock DAO grant awarded to P2E Inferno.

Since receiving the first tranche, P2E Inferno has focused heavily on building the product and integrations required to make Unlock a meaningful part of the user experience. The main area that fell short was the planned pilot cohort launch and the associated marketing push. Rather than forcing acquisition into a still-manual system, development was prioritized so that the next phase of growth can happen on top of a stronger infrastructure.

I am therefore requesting release of the second tranche to activate growth on top of the integrations that have been built.

What the grant set out to achieve

The proposal was designed to strategically drive Unlock ecosystem growth and adoption through:

• Unlock-powered bootcamp certifications
• milestone and quests achievement key mints
• direct crypto key purchases and fiat-to-key onboarding
• recurring cohorts revenue
• recurring subscriptions and token-gated premium features
• broader UP utility, network growth, and protocol advocacy

The grant request was split into two phases, with the second tranche intended for the impact phase after review of delivered milestones and progress.

What has been delivered since the first tranche

The first tranche enabled deep Unlock integrations within P2E Inferno and product readiness.

P2E Inferno now includes:

• Unlock-powered certificate and completion flows
• milestone and progression systems tied to locks.
• Paystack-based fiat onboarding connected to key grant logic
• recurring membership and renewal mechanics
• UP exposure inside the lobby market and quest ecosystem
• Unlock lock deployment as part of the learning engine
• an Unlock-aware AI discovery layer that helps users understand locks, memberships, renewals, UP, and governance context

phase 1 built the system; phase 2 activates it.

Next steps

The next phase will focus on activation:

1. Relaunch the first structured cohort using the built access, enrollment, and certificate infrastructure.
2. Start targeted marketing and distribution, including community, university, and other partnership initiatives.
3. Leverage automated verification system so that growth does not depend on manual review.
4. Periodically report progress and outcomes such as cohort participation, key activity, lock usage, certificate claims, and protocol discovery surfaces.
