I am posting this on behalf of the ApeBond team. As you know, a few months ago, Unlock DAO approved a campaign with ApeBond to target protocol-owned liquidity and funnel that generated liquidity into an Ichi vault. The campaign has not been working as expected, despite our consistent engagement in marketing activities from the DAO side and two campaigns with ApeBond themselves.

Biz, from the ApeBond team, reached out to me with the following proposal for the current campaign:

Reviewing the Bond over the past few months, I agree we need to make some changes to how the bond is being presented to our community. Looking at our data, it shows that 45-day vesting schedules tend to have lower ROE and take longer to sell out.

With that, I suggest we review the vesting terms again. Lowering the vest to 30 days or even 25 days. The goal here is to get tokens into a vesting contract for the user, but have those raised funds populate your Ichi Pool.

What is promising is that the ROE is aligned with our average return ✅

Also the number of users buying is higher as well so we are seeing interest.

If we are in agreement, let's review this again in about two weeks after the Bond is live and see how sales change. If no change has occurred, I would say UP is not something our community is interested in, and we will return the tokens. But, if we see more buys, I think we have our answer that the vesting term was the issue, and we can navigate future bonds appropriately.

The proposal here is the following:

1. Let's extend our campaign.
2. Let's lower the vesting schedule to 25 days.

If that doesn't spark interest ApeBond will return the tokens as planned, if it does work we can actually populate our Ichi vault with protocol-owned liquidity.
