This proposal outlines the Unlock Protocol DAO budget for Q3 and Q4 of 2025 (July 1 to December 31). It includes funding allocations to support ecosystem roles, community incentives, marketing strategies, and translation efforts to continue growing the Unlock Protocol ecosystem.

The total proposed budget is composed of both UP tokens and USDC, with the USD equivalent calculated using the current UP market rate of $0.006192 per token.

📌 Activities Summary – Q3/Q4 2025

1. 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Community Incentives

• Support retroactive funding and community-led initiatives.
• Encourage active participation through grants and bounties.

2. 📣 Marketing Strategy

• Influencer campaigns to raise awareness in Web3 communities.
• Collaboration with marketing agencies, including NinjaPromo.
• Social media ads across Twitter/X, Reddit, and more.
• Content creation using a new incentive model focused on five core pillars.
• Partnerships and sponsorships with DAOs, events, and Web3 communities.
• Development of buyer personas to refine marketing and product targeting.

3. 🌐 Website Translation Project

• Translate core website content and documentation into Spanish.
• Implement multilingual support using Weblate and development work.

4. 🧩 Ecosystem Role Compensation

• Provide monthly rewards (in UP and USDC) for DAO contributors in key operational, technical, and communication roles.
• Adjustments in role structure and scope planned for Q3.

5. 💱 Optional Conversion

• If market conditions allow, up to $40,000 in UP may be converted to USDC to cover stablecoin-based expenses.
